We both grew up in the Northwest, Kaden in Mill Creek and Courtney on Whidbey Island. Courtney, a pastor’s kid called to pastoral ministry herself in high school, grew up loving and serving in the church. Kaden, after his dad passed away from cancer when he was in high school, fell into a life of addiction. After years of drug use, a friend invited him to church and he’s never left! He was saved and set free, ready to embrace the call of ministry.

We met and fell in love while serving Jesus together! Married in 2019 and had Maximus (now 5) a year later. We moved a few times and continued to serve the local church, eventually leading us to California where we had our second, Maverick (now 2).

Maximus started school this year and made lots of new friends. He loves coloring, math sentences, recess (of course) and had the best time playing tee ball this Spring.

Maverick definitely fits his name! He loves to dance, pretend to be a dinosaur, and is quite the chatterbox.

Kaden loves to play basketball and golf, and Courtney is always up for any activity involving friends. As a family, we love to get outside, host and go out with friends, play games, and watch our seasonal sports (go Hawks and go Lakers, a little bit of both our worlds).

We love Jesus and we love people. We feel honored to journey with people as they discover who Jesus is and how to live life with Him and for Him. We are passionate about empowering believers, young and old, to use their gifts to be the hands and feet of Jesus inside and outside of the church. We are community-minded and see our ministry assignments not limited to a church congregation, but to the surrounding city.

We know God has called us to serve the local church, and we are excited to see what that might look like as we pursue His leading into the future!
